Below the amp is the station/antenna selection switches. I use  a Kent dual paddle with the 746 and a Heathkit HD-1410 electronic keyer with the 440 for CW operation.

Here is my old station from 1965 back on the air after 40 years. National NC-155 receiver, NTS-3 speaker, Knight-Kit T-60 transmitter, Knight-Kit P-2 SWR meter and a Hallicrafters HA-5 VFO. The D-104 handles the infrequent AM operation on 75 and 40 meters.

Notice any similarities between this picture and the one from 1965? You should because it is the same equipment only better. Everything has been gone thru and refurbished to bring it back to its original condition and operating state. A lot of hard work but well worth the effort. This equipment was purchased by my dad and as a tribute to him, I have put it back on the air after some 40 years. I still remember the nights with him spent building the T-60 and the thrill of putting it on the air for the first time. Memories that will always be with you.

I have used this station for the past few years during the annual " Straight Key Night" with satisfying results. Follow the link here to read my soapbox entry from 2007
